War Thunder Download Guide
War Thunder is and available on Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. You can download it either through the official Gaijin launcher or via Steam on PC.
PC ( Official Website) Gainji Launcher
- Click “Download Free” to the official War Thunder website.
- Click the Download Game button.
- Run the installer after it finishes downloading.
- Choose your installation location and complete the setup.
- Launch the War Thunder Launcher, allow it to download the game files, then sign in or create a Gaijin account to start playing.
Steam Download PC
- Install and open Steam.
- Search for War Thunder in the Steam Store.
- Click Play Game (it’s free).
- Steam will download and install the game automatically.
- Launch the game from your Steam Library and log in with your existing Gaijin account or create a new one.
PlayStation 4 & 5, | Xbox One/ Series X|S Download
- Open the PlayStation Store for PS and the Microsoft Store for Xbox.
- Search for War Thunder.
- Select the game and choose Download.
- Once installed, launch the game and log in with your Gaijin account.
Network Performance Tips
For games using internet connection, to avoid experiencing high ping, packet loss, unstable routing to game the server, then a gaming VPN may help improve connection stability. Results may vary due to your ISP and location.
