You can install supported games from your preferred PC stores and use mods and other PC software.
Best for players who want the flexibility of a real Windows gaming PC in the cloud.
Casual Players
Lite plans are designed specifically for occasional players with lower monthly usage.
They provide the same hardware performance as their corresponding full plans but with usage limits.
Best for players who only game a few hours per day.
Multi Device Gamers
Shadow can stream your cloud PC to Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile devices, TVs, and browsers.
You can move between compatible devices while keeping the same Windows gaming environment.
Best for players who want their gaming PC available across multiple screens.
How Shadow PC Works
Shadow PC runs a complete Windows computer on powerful hardware inside a remote data center.
Your keyboard, mouse, or controller inputs are sent to that cloud PC while its video and audio are streamed back to your device.
This lets a low-powered device access the performance of a much more powerful gaming PC without running the game locally.
Shadow PC May Not Be The Best Choice For;
- Players with unstable internet — Poor latency, packet loss, or inconsistent bandwidth can cause input delay and streaming problems.
- Players wanting a ready-made game library — Shadow provides a full Windows PC rather than a subscription library of included games; you generally install games you own.
- Players outside supported markets — Shadow is officially offered only in selected countries, and distance from its data centers can significantly affect latency. However you may be able to bypass this by using a VPN service.
- Users who prefer offline gaming, because an internet connection is required at all times.
- Players focused on incompatible anti-cheat games — Games such as Valorant, Fortnite, Warzone, Rocket League, and several EA titles currently have compatibility restrictions.
Shadow PC Supported Devices;
- Windows & Mac PCs
- Android / iPhone, iPad
- Linux / Ubuntu
- Smart TVs
- Chromebook
- Raspberry Pi
- Browser
NOTE: Shadow provides dedicated apps for major desktop, mobile, TV, and Linux platforms, while browser access works on compatible Chromium-based devices with H.264 support.

Internet Requirements
The streaming process of your controls traveling to the cloud PC while the resulting game video and audio are sent back to you in real time requires a fast and stable internet connecton.
Shadow recommends at least 15 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, and 30 ms or less latency for a good experience.
| Speed | Quality | Best For |
| 15 Mbps+ | HD / ~60 FPS | Casual |
| 25 Mbps+ | 1080p / ~60 FPS | Regular |
| 40 Mbps+ | 4K / ~60 FPS | High quality |
NOTE: Actual resolution and FPS depend on your Shadow plan, display, device decoding capability, game, and network conditions. Shadow states that resolutions above 1080p require faster speeds, with up to 40 Mbps for 4K.
Shodow PC Limitation
Unlike services with a fixed cloud-game catalog, Shadow gives you a full Windows PC, but some games can still be blocked by their developers.
Anti-cheat systems such as Riot Vanguard, Easy Anti-Cheat, EA AntiCheat, and other VM restrictions currently make a number of popular games incompatible.
Always check Shadow’s compatibility list before purchasing a game specifically for Shadow PC.
