The Sims 4 Download Guide
The Sims 4 is free to download on Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S. The base game is free, while expansion packs, game packs, and kits are sold separately.
Windows PC (EA APP) Download
- Click “Download Free” to install the EA App from EA’s official website.
- Sign in with your EA account or create one.
- Search for The Sims 4.
- Click Download (the base game is free).
- Choose an installation location and wait for the download to finish.
- Launch the game from your EA App library.
PC (Steam) Download
- Click ” Steam Download” to visit Steam.
- Search for THE SIMS 4.
- Open the game’s store page.
- Click Play Game to add the free game to your Steam Library.
- Download and install the game.
- Launch the game and log in to start playing. (An EA account is required on first launch.)
PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S Download
- Open the PlayStation Store for PS, and the Microsoft Store for the Xbox
- Search for The Sims 4.
- Select the free base game and choose Download.
- Wait for the installation to complete, then launch the game.
